Pen Sponge

These sponge filled boxes are a useful addition to your Pelikan Graphos set.

Viscose sponge in blue plastic box with hinged cover. Easily moisten the spring (nib) during the work and after work breaks.

We have some original blue plastic boxes to which we have added a new sponge, the sponge has a

slightly textured surface to help get the ink flowing. 

Add a few drops of water to the sponge to ‘just dampen’ it, pull the nib across the surface

to start the ink flowing, keep closed when not in use.

But because we only have a few of the original boxes, we have added sponge to some of our small,

slide opening tins, they work just as well although a little smaller.

Neither the box nor tin are airtight, wash the sponge in warm soapy water if it becomes too dirty.
